Who I am

I’m a seasoned cybersecurity director with over 20 years of experience in application security, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. Recently, I found myself facing something I never expected—a layoff. Like so many others in today’s job market, I suddenly have to pivot, rethink my career trajectory, and navigate the uncertainty of finding my next role.

Rather than letting this moment define me, I decided to take control by documenting my journey and sharing what I learn along the way. Hacked2Hired is my space to explore the job search process, dive into the tools and strategies that work (and don’t), and offer actionable tips to help others who might be in the same boat.

Through this blog, I’ll share:

Personal insights: My experiences as a cybersecurity professional on the hunt for a new role.

Proven tools and strategies: From crafting the perfect resume to networking effectively and acing interviews.

Motivation and resilience: How to stay focused, positive, and productive during a career transition.

Whether you’re in cybersecurity, tech, or any other field, I hope Hacked2Hired becomes a resource and source of encouragement for anyone navigating layoffs and career transitions.

This journey isn’t just about finding my next job—it’s about learning, growing, and helping others turn their setbacks into comebacks. Together, we can make the process a little less daunting and a lot more empowering.

Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to sharing this adventure with you!

Let’s hack the job market and get hired.
